About Gajanan Industries

Shree Gajanan Industries was started as a registered partnership firm in 1969 in Nizamabad, Andhra Pradesh. Gajanan was born from the ideals of the late Kanji Bhai, our father and leader, who led us through thick and thin. Since its humble beginning in a thatched hut, Gajanan has grown into a state-of-the-art factory with a turnover of over Rs. 125 crores. Our commitment to innovation and unfailing quality has always inspired us to stay true to the late Kanji Bhai’s beliefs. He believed competitive entrepreneurship could flourish and sustain on values, not profits. His principles in life were inherited by each member of Gajanan — honesty, integrity, perseverance, commitment.

Milestones of Shree Gajanan Industries

1969

Started with conventional rice processing unit in 1969 with 1 ton per hour capacity.

1980

Updated rice processing unit in the year 1980 to 2.5 tons per hour.

1985

Added the same capacity mill in the year 1985.

1993

Installed processing machinery with a capacity of 2.5 tons per hour imported from Thailand in 1993 for quality output.

1999

Fully automated paddy processing plant installed in 1999 from Buhler, a German technology that was the first for non-Basmati rice in India and the first in South India with a capacity of 5 tons per hour.

2008

Installation of the second automated paddy processing plant in 2008 operated through SCADA technology from Buhler, with a capacity of 8 tons per hour and expandable to 16 tons per hour.

2012

ISO 22000 Certified unit in the year 2012.

2014

FSSC 22000 Certified unit in the year 2014.

2016

Organic Certified unit in the year 2016.

2017

Recognized with GSIF Certification.

2018

Achieved SEDEX SMETA Certification.

      Executive Accountant responsibilities and duties

      • Manage all accounting transactions
      • Publish financial statements in time
      • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
      • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
      • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns

      • Comply with financial policies and regulations
      • Uphold a strict level of confidentiality

      Skills Required:

      • Work experience as an Accountant

      • Hands-on experience with accounting software, Tally
      • Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables
